Story

I will be completing the Starlight Walk in April, this will be the start of the fundraising I'm doing for my Dad's 20th Year Anniversary. My Dad developed his 1st brain tumour in 1990 and had ana amazing life enjoying his holidays, football and spending time with mum and I as a family. Unfortunately in 2003 Dad developed another tumour which caused him to have a stroke and in May 2004 Dad was admitted into the hospice for tablet control. Dad never came out spending the last 7 weeks of his life being cared for amazingly by all the staff at East Cheshire Hospice the hospice were also amazing to mum and I and the rest of the family in those last 7 weeks and since.
East Cheshire Hospice provides essential care, support and compassion to local adults facing life limiting illnesses. We rely on fundraising to pay for over 80% of our daily costs, and so you can be sure your support will make a huge difference to our patients, their families and loved ones.
